Hendrick Medical Center South is a 231-bed not-for-profit facility that is staffed with 3 physicians with 1 APP during the day, and 1 nocturnist physician. Our advanced practice clinicians carry a similar workload to our physicians handling rounding, admitting, and discharges within this setting while also working within the 20-bed open ICU performing procedures such as intubations, central lines, and dialysis catheters.
